Dacia Launches Duster Commercial in the UK

If you need the space, flexibility and affordability of a Duster crossover, but don’t really need the rear seating, Dacia UK now has the answer. It’s called the Duster Commercial and the formula is very simple, but it’s bound to find its crowd – SsangYong sells a similar version of its Korando, so the commercial crossover is actually a niche in itself.

It offers a 550 kg payload and 1,150 liters of load volume, while also offering the model’s known off-road qualities. You can choose from the standard 4×2 variant or the more capable 4×4, although that adds a £1,700 premium on top of the £9.595 plus VAT base price.

The Duster Commercial is only offered with the top diesel engine, the dCi 110, with which it can sprint to 62 mph or 100 km/h in 12.2 seconds in front-wheel drive guise and it returns 56.5 mpg while emitting 130 g/km CO2. The all-wheel drive variant is marginally dirtier and less frugal, but the tradeoff isn’t huge – it promises 54.3 mpg.

The model is available for order now, with first examples set to be delivered from late June.
