Most concept vehicles have a sad life after they debut at auto shows: they are seldom driven (those who have a drivetrain, of course) and spend the rest of their days in museums or private collections.

Jeep’s concepts cars for this year’s Easter Jeep Safari are probably some of the few exceptions in the industry, as they were recently taken for a drive in the beautiful surroundings of Moab, Utah. It was the perfect excuse for a photo shoot and a reminder that these prototypes are all functional.

This year’s lineup included three studies based on the Wrangler (Chief, Staff Car, Wrangler Africa and Wrangler Red Rock Responder), and a project for each of the other three models in Jeep lineup: Renegade Desert Hawk, Cherokee Canyon Trail and Grand Cherokee Overlander.

We’ve detailed them in a previous post, so all you have to do know is check them out in the new photo gallery and in the videos posted below.
