How many times have you caught yourself reading an automotive article on the web then heading to eBay searching for God knows what?

It happened to me for the umpteenth time after finishing the post on the BMW i8 vs 850Ci, as I somehow ended up surfing on eBay for super low mileage sports cars from the 1990s. Nope, I didn’t find an E31, but I did discover seven two-door models with ridiculously low mileage for their age.

We’re talking about vehicles that were barely used by their owners, and while I can somewhat understand why someone may have clocked just 2,398 miles (3,859 km) on a 1999 Plymouth Prowler, a stick-shift 1998 BMW 323is E36 with only 909 miles (1,463 km) or even worse, a 1995 Ford Mustang Cobra with 21 (!!!) miles (34 km) make no sense whatsoever.

Other finds include a “1 of 28” 1990 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z 1LE with 2,259 miles (3,635 km), a 1990 Ford Mustang 5.0 LX Convertible with 311 miles (482km), a 1990 Corvette ZR1 with 811 miles (1,305 km) and a manual 1991 Nissan 300ZX Turbo with 2,331 miles (3,751 km).
