Is The Ariel Nomad The Most Pointless Yet Amusing Car On The Market?

Sometimes, the cars that don’t make any sense at all are the ones which surprise you the most, and the Ariel Nomad appears to be one of those cars.

There is absolutely no serious reason to buy the Ariel Nomad, apart from hooning it all-day long; it’s not as capable and raw as the Atom which means it’s slower on the track and it doesn’t have all-wheel drive to make it a proper off-road explorer.

It’s an off-road toy which according to most of the press –Auto Express included- who have driven it, is even more enjoyable for road use than the Atom because of its long-travel suspension which gives it even more feel.

See for yourself after the jump.
