It seems that riding around Stockholm in a 900+ HP Audi RS6 driven by Jon Olsson, is just as exciting as it sounds. What a “shocker”, right?
When the news broke last week that Swedish free-skiing legend and car enthusiast Jon Olsson is going to be driving his crazy fast RS6 for Uber on May 15, we thought it was a very cool idea – especially for those that live in Stockholm.
We also didn’t anticipate Jon breaking any laws while driving his “customers” around, but he sure offered them a taste of how fast it can accelerate and most of all, how amazing it sounds.
Even though we’ve heard it before, we’re still amazed by the ferociousness of that exhaust system. It sounds like there’s a Decepticon under the hood of that RS6, eating a pack of wild lions or something! It sounds brutal, it’s amazing.
We definitely can’t wait to see more of the car as it embarks on its 8,552 km (5,313 mile) journey from Stockholm to Las Vegas as part of the Gumball 3000 rally.
However, there’s another cool ride that’s part of the Betsafe Gumball 3000 team, excluding the RS6 DTM obviously, which represents Sweden. The other Betsafe-sponsored supercar is a Ferrari 458, driven by ‘Team Norway’ – which ironically, is nowhere near as fast as Jon Olsson’s mad station wagon.
Also, we’ll assume that all the guys that got to go from point A to point B in Olsson’s RS6 last week, will be rooting for him in the rally.
