The 542hp Range Rover SVR is one of the most important models shown this year by Land Rover.

Built by the Special Vehicles Operations, the sharpest Ranger Rover ever enters the absurd segment where similar-powered behemoths have been living for quite some time now.

Although we know already that it’s no match for its arch-nemesis, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo, the Range Rover SVR still remains a huge achievement according to the words of Steve Sutcliffe who now freelances for Drive channel as well.

Backed by the unmistakable V8 rumble, the Range Rover SVR looks like a very agile sumo wrestler, ready to lift its inner front wheel and perform another four-wheel drift with the slightest provocation. It certainly looks impressive.
