Batman v Superman’s New Batmobile Is A 20-Foot Long, 7,000 Pound, 205 MPH Beast

After catching a glimpse of the next Batmobile in Toronto during filming of the Suicide Squad, the Dark Knight’s new ride from Batman v Superman was presented publicly for the first time today at the 2015 Licensing Expo in Las Vegas.

Warner Bros gave us a detailed look at the new Batmobile, including its utilitarian interior that features a plethora of screens, knobs, and buttons of the “Active Defense System”, “Aerial Scan”, “Arming Sequence,” and “Launch Indicator” sort.

And that’s not all, because the studio also shared a fact sheet about the new Batmobile according to which, it measures 20 feet or a little over 6 meters long, weighs about as much as a fully grown male African elephant or two Cadillac CTS sedans at 7,000 pounds or 3,175kg, yet somehow manages to top out at 205mph (330km/h) – always in theory, of course, of course…

You can see the pictures and the spec sheet below, but before you do, let us remind you that the new Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice movie will hit cinemas in March of 2016 and will star Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and Jason Momoa as Aquaman.

The Batmobile:

Single-handedly designed and fabricated in near complete seclusion by the Batman, this infamous pursuit and capture vehicle has earned its reputation as the apex predator on the mean streets of Gotham-City. Over powered with an unmatched hybrid of prototype military and civilian performance technologies, this top machine has been estimated to reach speeds of up to 205 MPH. The Batmobile’s imposing defense capabilities, supported by stolen Wayne Industries technologies, have been integrated with the latest in covert military grade armaments, stealth and active protection systems.

Facts:

– Twin .50 caliber retractable machine gun turret
– Fully armored
– Stealth-capable
– Active Protection Systems/Anti-ballistics
– 20 ft. long/12 ft. wide
– 7000 lbs.
