Ford hasn’t been building the Excursion for 10 years, but that’s just a minor inconvenient if you want to own the biggest SUV that the streets have seen.

While a used Ford Excursion can be a solution, Hennessey Performance has a better proposition: the 2016 VelociRaptor SUV. Based on the Ford F-250 Lariat pickup truck with 4×4 and a 411hp 6.2-liter V8 gasoline engine, the VelociRaptor SUV offers a total of seven seats on three rows.

The conversion includes a second pair of lateral doors as well as rear cargo doors, with the middle row of seats featuring captain’s chairs while the third row gets a folding bench seat. As an alternative, Hennessey offers an optional middle row 60/40 folding center console/seat, which increases capacity to eight passengers.

Styling upgrades include a VelociRaptor front bumper, Hennessey and VelociRaptor SUV exterior badges, as well as Hennessey serial numbered dash plaque and engine bay plaque. Optional design enhancements on offer are the VelociRaptor wheel and tire upgrades, VelociRaptor rear bumper upgrade, VelociRaptor LED light bar integrated into front bumper, Warn front winch and an off-road suspension upgrade.

For those customers that may be unsatisfied with the standard 6.2-liter V8’s power, Hennessey offers two upgrade options, the VelociRaptor 600 Supercharged and VelociRaptor 650 Supercharged. As you probably guessed, these boost the engine’s output to 600hp and 650hp, respectively.

But if you’re more a torque kind of guy, Hennessey Performance can fit the 2016 VelociRaptor SUV with the 6.7-liter PowerStroke V8 turbo diesel that produces 440hp and a monumental 880lb-ft (1,192Nm) of torque.

You can now order the 2016 Hennessey VelociRaptor SUV from $159,500, including the donor vehicle.
