Ford Romania has found a fun way to tell the world that its plant in Craiova has built the 400,000th engine since production started in May 2012.

The company invited local rally driver Simone Tempestini at the plant, put him in a Fiesta rally car and shot a Gymkhana-style video on the premises of the facility.

We’ll let you be the judge of how well they managed to imitate Ken Block’s stunts, but before hitting play on the video you should know the 400,000th engine built in Craiova was a 1.0-liter three-cylinder EcoBoost turbocharged petrol unit rated at 125PS which was shipped to Ford’s Saarlouis plant in Germany to be fitted to a Focus.

Ford’s Romanian plant has also built the 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine since April 2013.
