Las Vegas Startup PSC Motors “Unveils” 1,700HP Hypercar Designed By A…15-Year Old

We recently covered a story about PSC Motors and its “diabolical” plan to build a 1700 HP hypercar-killer, known as SP-200 SIN, but with just a couple of teaser images, we didn’t know what to expect – until now…

At least to some extent, since the unveiling of the car consists of a few renderings, which exhibit its final form. Apparently this is how the car will look like – if it’s ever going to be finished.

The design, done by a 15-year old from Bangkok, encapsulates PSC Motors CEO’s vision on how the car should look. Jennarong Muengtaweepongsa– the person responsible for the visual development of the car, and who you may remember from this Aston Martin study we showed you in April – states that the SP-200 SIN has its own unique style, but is also inspired by supercars ranging from the McLaren F1, to the Hennesey Venom GT.

According to the press blurb, the car was designed to be aerodynamically efficient and in case you forgot, it will allegedly have a 9.0-litre, V8 engine, which produces a total of 1650 HP with the help of an electric motor.

With such a beast under the hood and only weighing 1400 Kg (3100 lbs), PSC Motors estimates that the car will accelerate from 0 to 100km/h (62mph) in 2.8 seconds all the way to a top speed of over 450km/h (280mph).

Big numbers, for a car that doesn’t exist…

the renders looks cool. but will it materialize is another story.

In my opinion not a good time to bring another “hyper car” to market in my opinion.

  • Hobochicken

It actually looks pretty darn good, but i’m so tired of all these vaporware supercar start ups. Just because you are loaded, you can’t expect to start a company when you have no experience in car building, which is extremely complex in it self. Not to mention building a supercar made to go to the extremes of speed and engineering.

Hmm, it is original I guess. I’ve never seen a car with a Hitler ‘stache

    • CarCzarDesigner

Original? Really? This doesn’t remind you of a Ferrari, at all?

      • donald seymour

Yes, but with a Hitler stache.

        • CarCzarDesigner

Perhaps. But since this was created by a 15 year old in Bangkok, I seriously doubt it was the intention of the artist (in an effort to add some distinction to the styling) to remind people of the Fuhrer. Besides it is only a Conceptual rendering. If this becomes a reality, let’s hope someone points out to PSC Motors their mistake.

it reminds me of at least 10 different cars. but he is 15yrs old. the company itself… that is a different story.

        • CarCzarDesigner

Thanks for writing. The fact the car does remind us of other well known brands and models, isn’t really that uncommon in the auto industry. GM does it all the time. I call this soup design styling. It would have been better if the car was a bit more uniquely styled and really brought something new to the game.
If this car actually becomes a reality, it would be good to see an American supercar come on to the scene. However, PSC needs to raise really big money to make this car a reality. With many of their competitor’s struggling to make ends meet, which have a pedigree, making it (being successful) is going to be tough.

I can’t unsee the hitler stache now

If you’re not an aerospace engineer and used the word as ‘aerodynamically efficient’ I won’t believe you. You cannot claim an aerodynamic efficiency without providing lift/drag ratio numbers.

  • AnOld BlackMarble

If they build this they’ll get a lawsuit from (la)Ferrari, for cloning their design.

  • Kingsley Mpofu

    La Ferrari is that you?

    • fabri99

Yup, a after a head-on collision with an Infiniti Emerg-e

  • MarketAndChurch

With 550hp, and a starting price below 150k, it would make for a great R8, AMG GT, Vantage, 911, 570S competitor.

1700 hp is nice. But I think it needs to look a lot more sophisticated to command a 500k+ pricetag.

ok. not bad – for a 15yr old. without wanting to hurt your feelings: you are heading into the right direction. just give some more time and practise.

    • c3vzn

C’mon it’s good for anyone, regardless of age. Just the black bit at the front is a weird cue.

  • Psuwacz

Looks like a succesful chinese knockoff McLaren fused with Lambo and Aston cues. Vapor, vapor, vapor….

  • john1168

Looks very cool! I don’t like that black patch on the front though.

  • Donatus Maccarthy

what’s the point of all that HP?? Are supercars made to be enjoyed at their max possibilities or to lead people to death??

  • Ronald Beach

So why is it a 15 year old can design a better NSX than Acura?

  • Tinky-Winky

I have a feeling that the design process didn’t start with sketches but directly in 3D program. It’s a nice design practice of an amateur teenage boy but definitely not professional. The design is not wholesome and too much effort has been put on details of questionable value. Most of the lines are smooth and flowing but then there’s this angular Lamborghini style rear wheel air intake that looks like it has been photoshopped on the car. It would be funny if the start-up was also run by teenagers.

    Hood from P1
Headlights and front face reminescent of Laferrari
    Rear part comes from emerg-E
side scoops looks like they were added afterward. After the unveiling to the new Ford GT that is.

Looks great, none the less (minus the weird fog lights), especially in white.

VW Beetle in your face – this is the real nazi car. Aside of the joke – it is a good design. Not unseen but well enough.
