McLaren Special Operations will unveil a series of highly personalized models at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, including an unique P1 sporting the patriotic French livery of the helmet worn by four-time Formula 1 world champion, Alain Prost.

The hypercar’s carbon fiber bodywork is color-matched to the famous design, sporting a white paint with blue graphics and red highlights.

MSO will also unveil a limited-run 675LT dedicated to the one of the most successful racing partnerships of the 1960s – that of Denny Hulme and company founder Bruce McLaren.

The car’s livery is inspired by the Formula 1 and Can-Am champion’s iconic helmet design with black stripes, running front to rear, over contrasting Silica White bodywork. Yellow tinted headlamp lenses are a reference to Hulme’s visor.

The third personalized McLaren on display at Goodwood is a 650S Spider honoring the founder of the team, Bruce McLaren. The car is finished in the iconic heritage McLaren Orange to match his M7A Formula 1 car in which he claimed the first F1 victory for the team in 1968.

But probably the most interesting exhibit in the McLaren stand is the F1 GT. Representing the Heritage division of MSO, the McLaren F1 GT is one of the rarest McLaren road cars ever made. Chassis #58F1GT is one of only three units designed and built to homologate the McLaren F1 GTR “Longtail” for GT racing during the 1997 season. The livery is inspired by the famous monochrome design of the Formula 1 team during the late 1990s.
