Remember Nissan’s limited edition and totally crazy 545hp Juke R? Of course you do. Well, the Japanese automaker will release a sequel to the “world’s first supercar crossover,” which will be called Juke-R Nismo and will debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on June 25.

The new Nissan Juke-R Nismo will use “the latest technology, styling and running gear from Nismo products,” the automaker says. No other details were offered, but according to a report from Auto Express, the Juke-R Nismo will be powered by Nissan GT-R Nismo’s 600PS (592hp) twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V6 petrol engine mated to a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

That means the Juke-R Nismo should be able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62mph) in less than 3 seconds and reach a top speed in excess of 322 km/h (200mph). As the teaser photo reveals, the Juke-R Nismo will look more aggressive than its predecessor, featuring sharper bumpers, wider wheel arches and red accents evoking the Nismo brand.

Like its predecessor, the Juke-R Nismo is expected to feature a full FIA-spec roll-cage, bucket seats and steering wheel mounted paddles for the dual-clutch transmission.

As for pricing, while the old Juke R was priced at £400,000 ($620,560), the new model is expected to cost as much as £500,000 ($775,600). That’s a lot of money for a B-segment crossover, don’t you think?
