For its 10th anniversary, YouTube held a contest asking viewers to vote for their favorite ad from the past decade and the results were announced today.
While Turkish Airlines’ “Kobe vs. Messi: The Selfie Shootout” commercial from 2013 nabbed first place, we had two entrants from the automotive world, including runner up Volkswagen with its highly acclaimed 2011 Big Game spot, “The Force” in second place, and Volvo Trucks’ awesome “The Epic Split feat. Van Damme” in fourth place.
The other two spots were taken up by Always #LikeAGirl (3rd) and Dove Real Beauty Sketches | You’re more beautiful than you think (5th).
According to YouTube, combined, these five ads have been watched for over 7.7 million hours.
