Before I saw this video, I was quite proud about changing the wheels on my car myself when the time comes to switch from summer tires to winter tires (or the other way round). My personal record, if you allow me to call it like that, is about an hour.
Imagine how embarrassed I felt when I learned that a team of German mechanics have recently broken the record for the quickest change of wheels on a car without electric tools in just under one minute (59.62 seconds). Their successful attempt was 24.23 seconds quicker than the previous record.
True, there were four of them, they obviously knew what they were doing and they had two professional jacks at their disposal. That doesn’t change the fact that I’m a lousy wheel changer, though. Scroll down to see how they did it.
