Limited, slightly mad editions of regular sports-cars are a good thing for everyone in the automotive universe, because they spice things and keep the interest going.

Jaguar knows this of course, that’s why they have built the Project 7, a limited edition of their F-Type R Convertible which promises even more thrills than the base car. This is one of the first creations of the SVO department, which gave us cars like the Range Rover Sport SVR.

Compared to the standard F-Type R Convertible, the Project 7 is 45kg lighter, 25hp more powerful, has a proper aero agenda which produces actual downforce and the suspension setup is more aggressive. Limited to 250 units only, the Project 7 will be a truly rare sight, and if you want one you are out of luck as all the production slots are already spoken for.
