Remember the Indian driver who modified his car so that he could drive in reverse all the time?
Apparently, driving backwards is a thing in California as well, judging from the video you’re about to see.
An Audi driver was recently caught on video while driving in reverse down Laurel Canyon Boulevard in Los Angeles, from Mulholland Drive to Sunset Boulevard. We don’t know why he chose to do that, it might have something to do with losing a bet or simply trying to impress the lady passenger.
Either way, it was a stupid and dangerous thing to do and the LAPD are now investigating the case and trying to find the “reverse driver.”
In the video, the Audi can be seen crossing the double-yellow lines several times, narrowly missing oncoming traffic. At some point, the Audi driver even maneuvers around other cars and into the left turn lane. Scroll down to watch the video.
