2017 Audi S8 Avant Plus Rendering Might Make Sense

Even though this car is just another addition to the imaginary full-size luxury estate segment, it’s pretty much a fact that people wouldn’t mind owning one in real life.

Sure, this rendering is based on the newly launched S8 Plus, but it applies to the regular A8 as well. Remember this BMW 7 Series Touring rendering from two months ago? I called it laughable in the title, because, well, it was never going to happen.

But then the comments section blew up with people saying that it looks good, even mentioning that an Audi A8 Avant would be an equally good idea. Well, here’s your good idea, and since people like the design, I guess that doesn’t make it laughable anymore – despite the fact that it’s still not going to happen.

Seriously though, who would mind owning, or simply just driving a car that has 605 PS and no fewer than 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque. It’s fast enough to hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.8 seconds, which makes it quicker than any of its rivals.

The Avant body works too, it’s very masculine, very imposing, and it would probably perform just as well as the saloon version in a straight line.

So since I brought up that BMW rendering, would you rather have the 7 Series Touring or the S8 Avant Plus?
