All-New Jaguar XF Ready For Action, Priced From £32,300 In The UK

Jaguar is throwing the all-new XF into the market and releases a new gallery of its executive sedan.

Based on the same modular architecture used by the XE, the XF is up to 190kg lighter than its predecessor thanks to the extended use of aluminum and the new Ingenium family of engines. Jaguar claims that the 163PS diesel model is 80kg lighter than its nearest competitor.

Despite the fact that the front overhang is now 66mm shorter and the overall length and height lost 7mm and 3mm respectively, Jaguar added 51mm to the wheelbase in order to make the new XF more spacious and comfortable.

The range of available engines includes a pair of 2.0-litre diesel engines with 163PS and 180PS, a 3.0-litre V6 diesel with 300PS and a supercharged 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine making 380PS. The four-cylinder diesel models are the only ones which can be ordered with a six-speed manual gearbox.

Other highlights includes what Jaguar calls ‘Configurable Dynamics’, optional on all V6 models, allowing the driver to individually select the setting of the dampers, steering, engine and the eight-speed automatic transmission.

The InControl Touch Pro is Jaguar’s most advanced infotainment system ever to be offered, featuring a quad-core processor and the ability to run an ultra-fast Ethernet connection, delivering great graphics, fast response and all the connectivity you could ask for.

Prices start at £32,300 for the 163PS diesel Prestige model and reach all the way up to £49,945 for the supercharged 380PS V6 model in the UK market.
