Buick has expanded the Sport Touring trim, first seen on the Encore crossover, to its entire sedan lineup.

The 2016 Buick LaCrosse, Regal and Verano Sport Touring (ST) models bring distinctive exterior styling cues “designed to set them apart from the pack.” Each model gets special 18-inch wheels with machined faces and black “pockets,” plus a rear spoiler.

Going on sale this fall, the Sport Touring sedans join the Enclave Tuscan Edition and Encore Sport Touring as the latest special models from Buick.

Besides the styling upgrades, the 2016 Buick LaCrosse Sport Touring adds Buick IntelliLink with Apple CarPlay capability, OnStar 4G LTE connectivity with Wi-Fi hotspot, remote start, eight standard air bags (including rear-seat thorax air bags) and leather-trimmed seats (heated at the front).

The 2016 Buick Regal Sport Touring features a standard rear-vision camera system, leather-trimmed seats (heated at the front), Buick IntelliLink with Apple CarPlay capability and OnStar 4G LTE connectivity with Wi-Fi hotspot.

Finally, the 2016 Buick Verano Sport Touring brings dual-zone climate control, eight-way-adjustable power driver’s seat and heated front seats, along with Buick IntelliLink and OnStar 4G LTE connectivity with Wi-Fi hotspot.

“Buick is reaching an all-new generation of customers by reinventing itself in terms of design, function and capabilities. These new ST models underscore the importance of design choices, while complementing the safety, refinement and connectivity technologies that are drawing new customers to Buick dealerships,” said Duncan Aldred, vice president of Buick.
