Owners of the PS4 exclusive called DriveClub can now download a free vehicle addon for their game. It’s the Ferrari 488 GTB, which was teased and announced a few weeks ago and has now debuted.
The car looks very nicely recreated (DriveClub is a pretty game too) and now that the engine is quite muffled they’ve not had to work hard to get the sound just right.
Handling-wise, the car looks agile and quite predictable, even if it surprises the player trying to drive it in the video posted below.
Interestingly, to our knowledge this is the first digital interpretation of the 488 – you currently can’t drive a licensed digital recreation of the car in any other game. But that’s no bad thing as its execution for DriveClub seems very good; it’s no Forza, but not bad either.
