Hyundai will finally debut its ‘N’ high performance sub-brand at the Frankfurt Motor Show with the N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo concept.

As the name suggests, the study is a virtual racecar for the Gran Turismo 6 video game which shows the brand’s “perspective on future performance characteristics.”

Hyundai also says the N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo study highlights “sustainable technology and race car design, truly representing the future potential of Hyundai N.” Obviously, the more immediate aim with this new concept is to engage further with the brand’s fans and the online community.

Alongside the N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo, Hyundai will also display the RM15 concept car which debuted earlier this year at the Seoul Motor Show. Powered by a mid-mounted 300PS 2.0-liter engine, the concept previews future developments that will be applied to upcoming high-performance Hyundai N models.

In addition, the New Generation Hyundai i20 WRC car will appear on stage during the motor show. The new rally car will make its competitive debut in the WRC in 2016.

As for the N sub-brand, Hyundai says it builds on its successful motorsport experiences and technology capability to bring “the most thrilling winding road” fun to customers. Hyundai N models will include future performance-oriented and race-track-capable models.
