You don’t really have to be a hardcore fan of Toyota’s muscular off-roader to appreciate the fine work ICON has thrown into it.
Jonathan Ward’s company has reached an almost godlike level of fame among the restomodding industry, right next to Singer. Instead of just dealing with one model, though, ICON became known for its Ford Broncos and Toyota FJs.
Tuned is driving a Toyota FJ modded by ICON and all we could while we were watching this video is if there is a more perfect daily driver. The level of detail on the car is just stunning, similar to what you usually find in well-established supercar companies.
And don’t think for a second that this is mere tuning. Actually, this is more akin to an upgrade: ICON has created a much better FJ, one that Toyota would never built – and that’s why it’s so special.
