Now that the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe is no longer a secret, we can move on to the next rumored member of the family, the four-door coupe that may be called CLC.

It does makes sense for Mercedes-Benz to bring such a model to market, since rivals from Audi and BMW have been selling the A5 Sportback and BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe for quite a while now. And let’s not forget that the Stuttgart-based brand is the one which started this four-door coupe trend with the original CLS back in 2004.

With the prospect of a C-Class four-door coupe likely, Photoshop expert Theophilus Chin set out to anticipate the model’s looks using the recently-unveiled C-Class Coupe as a starting point. As usual, the renderings are well put together, but the car looks a bit different from Mercedes’ current four-door coupes, the CLS and the CLA.

The big difference is the addition of a third lateral window, something the CLA and CLS don’t have but its rivals do. The small piece of glass makes the CLC look slightly more “utilitarian” and I’m not sure Mercedes-Benz would choose this design over a sportier one similar to its existing four-door coupes.
