Audi can’t help but tease its upcoming e-Tron Quattro concept set to debut at the Frankfurt motor show next week. As if it was the design that we were curious about and not the technical specifications of which they released none.
We know it’ll be fully electric and a rival for the Tesla Model X, but that’s about it. We also know it will be uncooler than the Tesla because it won’t have rear gullwing doors…
Granted, it looks like it’s an interesting shape for an Audi, a kind of squared off coke bottle effect with SUV elements. Predictable and slightly boring yes, but unattractive certainly it is not – current Audi designs just show an appreciation for correct proportion and this looks like it’ll be no exception.
The same concept was previously teased via a slightly more revealing sketch showing a side-offset front three-quarter view; the video below focuses on the rear. Hopefully, the production car it spawns will not stray too far from this look.
