Batman v Superman: DOJ Batmobile Shows Up At Warner Bros Studio

Having another great look at the latest iteration of the iconic Batmobile can only be described as being awesome, much like this 7,000 pound bullet-firing weapon of mass destruction.

This is actually our best look at the all-new Batmobile in motion. We saw it on the set of Suicide Squad a few months ago, but that footage wasn’t exactly what we were hoping for. When Warner opened up about the car, they said that it comes with an Active Defense System and an Aerial Scan, among other things. The defense system has been featured in plenty of Batman movies and animated movies alike.

What usually happens is that Batman will leave his car unattended and bad guys might try to break into it. And of course he’s often attacked by guys with machine guns and grenade launchers and the Batmobile has to be able to take a hit, or deflect it.

The thing is, Superman is a hell of a lot tougher than pretty much any projectile someone could fire at the Batmobile, which is why we’re all curious to see what happens if “Big Blue” feels the need to yank the Dark Knight out of his car – as the confrontation in the trailer would suggest.

Design-wise, some liked the Tumbler better, but others prefer a sleeker Batmobile, since that’s what most of us were used to seeing when growing up.

There’s still something very special about the old Batmobiles with their all-black retro-design, not looking anything like a military vehicle.

They had more way more style, though would have been less effective in the real world than this latest version.
