How many classic cars could happily sport a matte finish and swirly spiral hubcaps?

Very few I think, bu the matte purple wrap on this 1971 Citroen DS21 is very fitting and it’s maybe something the original designers would have done had it been prolific at the time.

The car is completely stock and untouched, other than the full body wrap, and it’s also had all of its exterior chrome details finished in matte black. It’s a good look and it shows the car’s teardrop shape and flanks better.

In this video, it gets extensively reviewed by YouTuber Saabkyle04, who gives a detail look both inside and out. He even gets the owner to drive the DS in a spirited fashion, shifting at over 5,000 rpm and taking corners with tire squeal – that’s something you don’t see every day…
