Based on the Insignia OPC Sports Tourer, the is3 Bandit was created in collaboration with Opel Kostner, producing 370 HP and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque.

If you’re looking at this from a power output perspective, the difference between this car and the stock Insignia OPC isn’t that sizable. The standard car has 325 PS and can hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6.0 seconds flat in saloon form, while on paper the Sports Tourer needs an extra 0.3 seconds to get there.

This is where Irmscher comes in. The turbocharger, the cooling, intake section and the exhaust tract were all revised in order for the car to achieve its growth in power output.

The Bandit will accelerate to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds, which makes it officially faster than the OPC saloon, though owners might be more interested in the aesthetics of the car rather than the small increase in power.

Looking at the exterior, we can see the revised front skirt with under ride splitter, side sills and the rear diffuser. There’s also a discreet rear wing which you may or may not have noticed while checking out the images.

The color scheme pushes out those gold-colored accents, while the 20″ Irmscher Turbo Star wheels also feature a fine golden accent line.

Those interested in buying this car should know that it will be available for purchase from the end of 2015 through either the Opel Kostner dealership or Irmscher.
