Lancia has released new photos of its subtly revised Ypsilon supermini, which goes on sale this month in select European markets.

For the 2016 model year, the Lancia Ypsilon brings a very discreetly revised exterior and interior, as well as updated Euro 6 engines.

Offered at launch in three versions (Silver, Gold and Platinum), the Ypsilon sports a new and smaller front grille as well as a new front bumper. The only other exterior updates are two new colors called “Ivory Chic” and “Blu di Blu”.

Inside, the Ypsilon gets new fabrics for the upholstery, new textures for the dashboard, easier to read graphics on the instrument panel and a new gear lever knob. The center tunnel has been completely redesigned to improve comfort and storage space has been increased.

The range-topping Gold version gets the new UconnectTM infotainment system with a 5-inch touch screen, steering wheel controls, voice controls and user friendly buttons to control the multimedia devices on board.

The refreshed Lancia Ypsilon is available with two petrol engines and a diesel unit. The petrols are a 69PS 1.2-liter with manual transmission and an 85PS 0.9 TwinAir Turbo with automatic gearbox. The diesel is a 95PS 1.3-liter Multijet II unit which emits 95 g/km of CO2. The range also includes two dual fuel versions: the 69PS 1.2-liter LPG/petrol and 80PS 0.9 TwinAir Turbo CNG/petrol. Both offer more than 1,100 km of total driving range.
