If for some reason you’re bothered by the stock 458 Italia’s gorgeous looks, perhaps you’d be willing to turn it into a much more aggressive-looking beast, with the help of Prior-Design’s widebody aero kit.

Design-wise, the 458 Italia is this low, angular and exotic thing that turns heads like they’re on a swivel. Its aesthetics are tricky to improve upon, but as long as you keep the car looking low and wide, bystanders will probably be just as impressed with it, if not more.

Also, there are no bad angles to the 458, which means that exterior mods aren’t necessary. But insert the PD458 widebody front bumper, add-on lip spoiler, rear bumper, diffuser, side skirts, side add-on spoiler, rear trunk spoiler, bonnet, rear vents inserts, cupwings, vented engine covers and front and rear widenings, and presto…it ends up looking like a Decepticon that somehow made its way into the Star Wars universe.

The entire kit will set you back €24,900 and can be completed with the 3-Piece Prior-Design Forged wheels, measuring 21×9.5 at the front and 22×11 at the rear. The wheels can also be installed on other Ferrari models such as the California, FF, LaFerrari and even the older F430 – though the design could be questionable to some.

You also have the possibility of getting the H&R Sport Suspension on request, which lowers your 458 Italia by about 35 mm (1.4 inches). On top of that, Prior-Design will set you up with a chip tuning upgrade which boosts the 458’s output by 30 PS and 40 Nm (29 lb-ft) of torque.

All in all, not a bad way to spend your hard earned cash once you’ve already splurged on a sexy Italian exotic such as this.
