Several Indy cars took part in a procession across the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco at the end of August. One car was bearing the winner’s cup for the GoPro Grand Prix of Sonoma as well as a 360 degree camera.

The footage was not released until now via GoPro’s official YouTube channel.

The crossing of the bridge must have made for a spectacular sight for those present, but seeing it from any angle of your choosing from onboard the trophy-carrying car is not bad either…

Towards the end of the video posted below, the perspective changes and you can actually see the trophy proudly displayed on one of the car’s flanks. Aside from that, you really can look at anything you want – from the rear suspension in action to the suspension cables holding the mighty Golden Gate together or startled pedestrians’ faces.
