The new Cadillac CTS-V, now in its third generation, has really come alive and it is definitely one of the most enticing super sedans you can throw your cash at. It’s got an ever so slightly detuned Corvette Z06 supercharged motor in it and it also has a great chassis.

It looks quite frisky in the video posted below, yet it seems manageable and a pure blast to drive. Few cars convey the sense of what it’s like to drive them through a simple video, yet the CTS-V certainly has that quality.

As a package, it’s really got everything: the monolithic exterior look (a longstanding Cadillac tradition), the high-quality interior and usable performance.

It turns out its setup makes it fast on track, but also on the road, and it’s not overly tricky to get to grips with it and drive it fast, at least not according to MT’s Lieberman or Pobst; one takes it to the track, while the other even enters a hillclimb in it.
