Audi Introduces 450HP A8 L 4.0T Sport To The US, Priced From $90,500*

Audi has introduced a new A8 version in the United States powered by an enhanced twin-turbo V8 gasoline engine.

New for 2016, the Audi A8 L 4.0T Sport model features more power and enhanced equipment. The 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine delivers 450hp, an increase of 15hp from the previous 4.0T model.

The Sport model also brings an updated front fascia with larger air intakes, a lowered front bumper and more prominent rocker panels on the sides for a wider stance. The rear lower bumper has been reshaped for a more dynamic appearance, with the standard equipment also including 20-inch 5-double spoke wheels shod with all-season tires.

Inside, the 2016 Audi A8 L 4.0T Sport comes with standard Executive and Luxury packages offering 22-way Comfort front seats with Valcona leather and a sporty diamond pattern stitching, as well as ventilation and massage functions. Also standard are an Alcantara headliner, panoramic sunroof and acoustic glazing on the windows.

Driver assistance functions include Audi side assist with pre sense rear and Audi head-up display with navigation information. Available features include Audi adaptive cruise control with stop & go.

Pricing for the 2016 Audi A8 L 4.0T Sport start from $90,500, excluding $925 destination.
