Former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson made his first commercial for his new employer Amazon, and he didn’t miss the chance to…stick it to BBC.

In the just launched commercial for Amazon’s new Fire TV Stick, Clarkson starts by mentioning his exit from the show before taking a jab at the British broadcaster in his usual tongue-in-cheek style.

“Hello,” he says. “Back in the spring, as you probably remember, I suddenly became un-busy, and that was OK, because I had one of these, an Amazon Fire TV Stick. He then goes on to list some of the channels available such as Demand 5 and Netflix, until he scrolls over to his former employer BBC and shakes his head saying “that”.

We imagine we’ll see more of “that” in the months leading to the new car show for Amazon that’s being prepared by former Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.
