Porsche’s 911 Turbo S Gets A Stylish Makeover By Techart

It’s not easy to improve a distinctive, well-proportioned design, but some nicely thought out aerodynamic bits and pieces will probably do the job. Techart’s latest proposal isn’t spoiling the 911’s clean and iconic looks, as it blends with the vehicle’s character in a technical and stylish way.

Instead of using flashy, conspicuous body-mods, the German tuner – as usual – went for subtle upgrades, which result in a stunning visual package. The aero-kit is made from a lightweight composite – carbon and polyurethane RIM – and uses beautifully manufactured blue carbon inserts.

The front spoiler incorporates the basic vehicle’s active aerodynamic system, thus supporting its functional capability and works alongside the fixed Techart Rear Spoiler II, perfecting air flow around the vehicle and improving driving dynamics and stability.

We figure the most distinctive styling feature on the car is the GT3-inspired air-outlet grille integrated in the front bumper, which consists of two parts and can be commissioned in a carbon fiber finish.

Performance-wise, the tuner didn’t mentioned any modifications. Then again, the stock 3.8-litre flat-six develops 552 hp and 700 N·m (516 lb·ft), so speed is not really an issue, is it?.
