There’s literally nothing in the world of cars like the annual SEMA Show held at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

It’s the mother of all tuning events with hundreds of customized vehicles on display, from domestic muscle to import sports cars and classic to conceptual rides, along with thousands of newly introduced parts, accessories, tools and components, all gathered in one place for professionals in the auto industry.

It’s the place to be if you like flashy cars and models customized almost beyond recognition, like the rat-rod styled BMW 5-Series E28 from Stanceworks, which named their creation the ‘Rusty Slammington’ – for obvious reasons.

Even car manufacturers try their luck in impressing the crowds and the internet with conceptual builds, which this year, included some pretty interesting vehicles such as Dodge’s all-wheel drive Challenger, Mazda’s MX-5 Speedster models and Toyota’s Ultimate Utility Vehicle, just to name a few.

Get a taste of what went on during this year’s event that ended on Friday, Nov 6, in the gallery that follows.
