BMW has returned with a new video of its M2 Coupe which was put to the test at the the German firm’s performance center.

The man behind the wheel squeezed everything out of the latest member of the M clan and probably needed a fresh set of tires at the end of the run.

A two-door compact with rear-wheel drive, a 370PS (365hp) twin-turbo straight-six paired to a six-speed manual transmission and the ability to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62mph) in 4.5sec is probably the best thing for BMW M fans, and the company’s North American branch sure knows how to keep them entertained.

So, head below for plenty of tire smoke, engine revving and, of course, drifting, all made in a controlled environment.
