Renault announced a new ‘Iconic’ special edition for their Twingo, Clio and Captur crossover models, offering more kit and styling differences.

The new special editions will be available across different engine options of their range, including the recently announced double-clutch EDC version of the Twingo TCe 90.

The Iconic special edition of Renault’s small Twingo city car is based on the top-of-the-range Dynamique trim, which includes cruise control, DAB radio, Bluetooth, R&GO smartphone-based navigation, electric front windows and electric heated mirrors among others. A set of “Ultraviolet Iconic” decals and 16-inch alloy wheels can be combined with one of the four colours available, two of them unique to this edition: Ultraviolet and Lunar Grey.

The cabin now gains black part-leather upholstery with white and violet stitching, special floor mats and colorful details around the interior. Twingo’s Iconic special edition can be ordered with two engines, the SCe 70 petrol and the turbocharged TCe 90 in manual and double-clutch versions.

Celebrating its 25 years in the UK market, the Renault Clio Iconic 25 Nav edition is offered with the TCe 90 petrol and DCi 90 diesel engines. Based on the range-topping Dynamique S spec, the Iconic 25 Nav adds 17-inch alloy wheels with black inserts, chrome window sills, tinted rear windows and decals for the wing mirrors.

The Clio Iconic 25 is available in four colors: Ivory, Diamond black, Oyster Grey and Mercury. Customers can choose as an option a black-white decal for the roof. The cabin now features part-leather upholstery with front heated seats, leather armrest, leather handbrake and an aluminium gear selector. The black-white pattern of the exterior decals is also decorating the air vent trim and the armrests on the doors.

Renault’s compact crossover, the Captur gains an Iconic Nav special edition which is priced the same with the Signature Nav spec but offers even more kit for the money. A two-tone exterior colour is standard with six different colour options available: Diamond Black, Ivory, Cappuccino Brown, Oyster Grey, Stone and Mercury which then can be combined with either a Black, Ivory or Cappuccino Brown roof.

A set of 17-inch ‘Explore’ alloy wheels with Cappuccino detailing are part of the standard equipment while the interior features matching Cappuccino part-leather trim with front heated seats and a bronze-tinted chrome pack.

The new Iconic special editions will be available for order in the UK market from December 1, with first deliveries expected within the month.
