Nissan has released pricing for its MY2016 Murano SUV which now starts at $29,660.

The SUV has already proven to be a success for Nissan, driving sales up 30 per cent in the 2015 model year, by offering a curvy exterior with a premium interior for less money when compared with cars like the Acura RDX or the Lexus RX.

There are no changes between MY2015 and MY 2016, with the Murano still using a 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine sending 260hp to either the front or all wheels through a CVT gearbox.

Other features include an eight-inch infotainment screen, the Around View Monitor and safety systems like Blind Spot Warning and Predictive Forward Collision Warning to enhance its relaxing nature as we found out back in the summer in our first drive review.

The 2016 Nissan Murano kicks off at $29,660 for the S FWD version and reaches all the way up to $40,700 for the Platinum AWD trim.
