With a mid-mounted V10 engine and just two doors, one couldn’t call the Lamborghini Gallardo a very practical or affordable car. As a matter of fact, just taking a trip to the shops in a Gallardo can prove difficult.

However, if there’s one key advantage the Gallardo has over its rivals it would be its all-wheel drive system. While such a system arguably numbs the driving experience, it does mean that Gallardo owners can go where many other supercars can’t and that’s into the snow.

‘The Stradman’ on YouTube recently headed into the mountains of Utah with his 2006 Gallardo along with a friend in a potent Gallardo LP570-4 Performante and when presented with the first sign of snow, they did exactly what we would have done; started to powerslide the V10-powered monsters.

As you’d imagine, the Performante is certainly the most impressive of the two Gallardos featured. It is not only the most powerful and fastest, but this example has been installed with a custom wrap and airbag suspension.
