Who would have guessed that Ford’s idea of “Season’s greetings” is to figure out a way to make drifting in the snow look pretty much unique.

If you go into this video hoping to see the Focus RS or the Fiesta rally car power-slide around with infinite precision, well, you’ll be semi-disappointed. You do get to see some drifting, but that is by no means the main attraction here, at least not visually.

Here’s what’s weird about this clip. It’s got way too much stuff in it and trying to keep track or even have it register in your head is a bit like not taking enough aspirin for a headache.

Let’s do a quick rundown of not so much what’s happening in the video, but who’s and what’s being featured. We’ve got the all-new Focus RS in the flesh, a miniature Fiesta rally car, Lego Santa, a “real” Santa, a Minion, a couple of Star Wars characters, a couple of Toy Story characters, a miniature Ford Sierra RS Cosworth, a tribute to Volvo & Van Damme’s split video by using Buzz Lightyear and two toy Coca-Cola trucks, a silly police chase in the snow, and that’s about as much as it would be worth mentioning.

There are a few other subtle Ford “easter eggs”, but you can make those out by yourselves. Just make sure you have enough Advil nearby.

Seriously though, this is a very creative video and Ford has plenty of reasons to celebrate this Holiday season, such as their EV projects or their recent sales numbers – which went up by 20.4% in November, compared to the same month last year.

At least some car manufacturers are still having fun.
