With its twin-turbocharged 4-litre V8, Mercedes’ C63 AMG model opens the path for a wide array of power upgrades, and Vath is the latest tuner to implement some aftermarket goodies.

Although it looks almost stock, this AMG C63 hides a hefty range of mods, as the German tuner “ennobled” it with a power upgrade, a cooling installation, and a brake optimizing kit. In fact, to make matters even more interesting, Vath offers extra upgrades on top to really let loose the four-door sedan.

For instance, the V63S tuning kit – as it’s called – adds up to 97 hp and 111 Nm of torque over the standard output (if the base is an “S” enhanced AMG variant) for a total of 606 PS (601 hp). Moreover, it also ups the top speed to 320 km/h, and offers an oil cooling installation – for a total of $4,311. Still, if this isn’t enough for some customers, Vath also throws in the V63RS variant, which boosts the grunt to an eye-watering 651 – 671 power output. That’s Ferrari Enzo territory, in case you were wondering.

Vath also took care
of the brakes, optimizing the rig with steel flex tubes, and Castrol SRF racing brake fluid. Oh, that’s an additional $491, by the way. Add an adjustable suspension and the 20-inch Vath single part wheels, and you’ve got yourself the definition of a sleeper.

The only giveaway is the speedometer extension to 360 km/h, that is if you don’t take the AMG body-kit and the humongous rims into consideration.
