Jaguar and Dua Lipa have joined their forces for “a music and technology partnership” that celebrates the company’s crossovers.

You’d be excused for not knowing who Dua Lipa is – truth be told, neither did we. Well, it turns out she’s an English singer and model, who was born in London, UK to Albanian parents from Kosovo.

The 23-year old star, who’s apparently the most streamed female music artist in the world, has been active in the field since 2015, when she signed with Warner Music Group, and since then, she has won quite a few awards.

Dua Lipa’s collaboration with Jaguar will see the launch of “an exclusive gig”, says the carmaker, at an event that kicks off on September 3, in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The young artist will perform on stage with the Jaguar I-Pace, in a unique experience dubbed “The PACE: Season One”.

“I love to push boundaries with my music and my performances, and this partnership is going to take things to an exciting new level”, said Dua Lipa. “It’s a high-tech project combining music and Jaguar technology, and I know my fans are going to love what we are creating together.”

Unveiled this spring, the I-Pace is an all-electric SUV that takes on the Tesla Model X and upcoming Mercedes-Benz EQC. It has a 90kWh lithium-ion battery thanks to which it can travel for almost 300 miles (~475 km) on a single charge, as per WLTP, or 240 miles (~385 km) according to EPA’s estimates.

It needs just 4.5 seconds to sprint from rest to 60 mph (96 km/h), and reaches a top speed of 124 mph (200 km/h).
