Alfa Romeo has revealed the U.S. and Canaidan-spec limited NRing edition for the 2019 Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio models at the New York Auto Show.
First revealed at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, the new Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio NRing models have finally crossed the Atlantic with a special specification designed to celebrate the brand’s relationship with the famous German track.
Alfa Romeo will offer just 110 examples in total between the Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio, with each car featuring bespoke details, in North America. These include a Circuito Gray matte paint finish, red brake calipers with white Alfa Romeo script, dark 19-inch alloys for the Giulia and 20-inch for the Stelvio, as well as mirror caps and a front grille made out of carbon fiber.
The 2019 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio NRing also gets an exposed carbon-fiber roof, with the Stelvio getting instead a dual-pane sunroof and carbon fiber side sills. Both limited editions also feature a serialized number inlay on the dashboard, a two-tone red/black leather interior with red stitching, carbon fiber for the steering wheel and shifter bezel, as well as more kit as standard.
Customers will be able to opt for the lovely carbon-shell Sparco racing seats, as well as the carbon-ceramic brakes that feature six-piston front and four-piston rear Brembo calipers.
“Today, we honor not only what Alfa Romeo represents to the automotive community, but what it stands for as a storied brand with historic racing victories and record-setting laps at the Nürburgring,” said Tim Kuniskis, head of Alfa Romeo. “Enthusiasts in North America can now experience that tradition firsthand with these special, limited-edition Quadrifoglio NRING vehicles.”
Both models are still powered by the sonorous twin-turbo 505hp 2.9-liter V6 engine that’s paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission, enabling the Stelvio Quadrifoglio to hit 60mph from a standstill in just 3.6 seconds (0-100km/h in 3.8) and a top speed of 176mph (283km/h).
Pricing for the new NRing limited editions starts from $91,285 for the 2019 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio and from $97,485 for the Stelvio Quadrifoglio, including a $1,595 destination fee.
