Say hello to Tesla Arcade, a new feature announced by the electric car manufacturer which allows owners to play Beach Buggy Racing 2, among other games, on their vehicles’ infotainment system.

Tesla hasn’t said if the game will be available for all of its vehicles but promotional pictures and videos show the game being played in the Tesla Model 3. Users interact with the game through the steering wheels and pedals of the electric sedan.

Beach Buggy Racing 2 is similar to Mario Kart and actually features Model 3 vehicles which users speed around in. There are no less than 22 different race tracks available.

“Access the full library of games directly from the vehicle’s touchscreen to play gaming classics like Atari Missile Command and Asteroids – or experience our newest addition, Beach Buggy Racing 2, a kart racing game where you can careen, blast and launch your way through 22 tracks. Players can recruit new drivers (see if you can find our favorite) and use the steering wheel controls for the most immersive gaming experience,” Tesla said about the new Arcade function.

To help promote Tesla Arcade, the company is inviting people to visit a local Tesla showroom where they will be able to experience the kart racing game. In a tweet, Tesla says that the new game will make charging up a Tesla that much more fun.

Tesla isn’t the only company developing games for its drivers to play. Mercedes-Benz has previously shown off the gaming abilities of its MBUX infotainment system and may introduce these features to the market.
