There were so many things happening at the 2019 Goodwood Festival of Speed that we’re still seeing new material days after the event closed its gates on Sunday. One of the videos that came to our attention sees a Jaguar F-Type being driven on the hill on two wheels.
The exciting and dangerous run had stunt driver Terry Grant behind it, who used a ramp to get the car in position at the beginning of the course and kept it like that for about four minutes, to the delight of the crowd.

Now, as Jaguar didn’t intend to have its vehicles driven on two wheels, there was a haze of smoke coming from under the F-Type at one point. At a first glance, it appears to have been the differential not being lubed accordingly, but this minor issue didn’t pose a threat to the stunt, which continued all the way to the finish line.
Mr. Grant’s ties with Jaguar go back a few years. In 2016, for example, he performed the exact same stunt on the Goodwood Hill, albeit with the F-Pace SUV. Back then, the dramatization reached new levels, as Lee Bowers, professional freestyle motorcycle stunt rider, climbed out of the passenger window, stood up and saluted the crowd.
One year before, Grant had his name written in the Guinness Book of World Records, after he did a 360-degree loop in the F-Pace, at the 4×4’s official presentation.
