Nissan has released the first teasers of the 2020 Titan ahead of its debut on September 26 at the State Fair of Texas.
The automaker is keeping details under wraps, but said the facelifted model will feature a “bold design” and be launched early next year. Nissan also confirmed the 2020 Titan PRO-4X will have a unique badge with lava red accents.
That isn’t much to go on, but the teaser image shows the truck sports a revised grille that is flanked by new headlights. The latter have integrated LED daytime running lights with a C-shaped design. There’s also a redesigned bumper with sharper lines and angular accents, new fog lights and more pronounced tow hooks.

Previous spy photos have shown the truck will also have an updated rear end with a new tailgate and restyled taillights. There could also be a modified rear bumper, but we’ll find out for sure next week.
The styling changes will continue in the cabin, as the 2020 Titan will have a new instrument cluster that features revised dials and a larger digital display, a new center stack, a larger and more modern infotainment system as well as updated switchgear. Rounding out the changes are restyled air vents and revised trim.
One of the biggest changes will be the elimination of the optional 5.0-liter Cummins V8 turbodiesel in the Titan XD. This unit put out 310 HP (231 kW / 314 PS) and 555 lb-ft (752 Nm) of torque, which enabled the truck to tow up to 12,830 lbs (5,820 kg).
With the death of the diesel engine, the 2020 Titan could be powered exclusively by a 5.6-liter petrol V8. It remains unclear if the unit has been updated for 2020, but in its current form it produces 390 hp (291 kW / 395 PS) and 394 lb-ft (533 Nm).
