A Porsche 911 Turbo S modified by 9ff has been wrecked after a high-speed crash during a top speed run at the vmax200 event.

We don’t have a list on hand that details each and every modification that this 911 Turbo S has undergone but it reportedly pumps out a massive 1,800 hp. That means it has some rather serious modifications going on beneath the skin that allow it to make all standard 911 models seem slow.

During the car’s first high-speed run of the day, it had been put in Low boost mode and looked unbelievably fast. It accelerated between 100 km/h and 200 km/h (62 mph – 124 mph) in just 5.42-seconds and 200 km/h to 300 km/h (124 mph – 186 mph) in a mere 7.46-seconds. The video reveals that when running on high boost, the car can run between 100 km/h – 200 km/h in 3.08-seconds and 200 km/h – 300 km/h in 4.03-seconds. The German sports car’s lower speed turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

As the driver hit a top speed of 365 km/h (226.8 mph), he finally let off the accelerator and had a mere 580 meters to bring the car to a stop before the end of the runway. He was unable to do so and the car speared through a massive bail of hay at the end of the runway at 142 km/h (88 mph). The impact was so severe that the entire front half of the car was crushed.

It remains to be seen if the 911 Turbo’s owner intends on repairing it but it looks like a complete loss to us.
