In the six years since the BMW R nineT hit the market, it has garnered a cult following among motorcycle customizers, and Florida-based Nmoto has just released an intriguing bolt-on kit that drastically alters the bike’s appearance.

Dubbed the Nmoto R sevenT kit, it emulates the look of the iconic BMW R7 prototype from way back in 1934. Nmoto actually created a near-perfect replica of the R7 back in 2018 that was also based on the R nineT; however, it cost an eye-watering $89,500. By comparison, the newly launched R sevenT kit is available from just $6,950.

The kit should only be considered by those that have some mechanical knowledge and are able to install it. Fortunately, no fabrication work or any changes to the chassis are needed. It’s mostly a matter of removing a large portion of the R nineT’s body and replacing these parts with Nmoto’s kit.

Robb Report notes that the kit includes a new fuel tank, fuel pump, hoses and filter, front and rear wheel fenders and brackets, a new taillight, oil cooler relocation bracket, fork and engine covers, hoses and connectors, headlight, turn signals, a handlebar cover and an exhaust-tube extension. Key parts like the engine, suspension, chassis, brakes, wheels and seat remain unchanged.

“[The kit] has required a significant investment in time, resources and engineering, but the result is well worth it,” Nmoto founder Alex Niznik said. “Our customers won’t be disappointed.”
