With the recent reveal of the Porsche 911 Dakar and Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato, many people have now started wondering what their favorite supercar might look like in off-road guise. The latest vehicle to see the results of that trend is this Ferrari SF90 Stradale, which has been digitally rendered to meet all the criteria for an off-road supercar.

Dubbed the SF90 “Dakar Cross Edition”, the rendering was created by Instagram user @idlar_project, who envisioned Ferrari‘s current range-topping supercar with all the gear it would need to take its performance off the pavement.

The most notable change is that it now rides noticeably higher off the ground courtesy of a suspension lift. That taller suspension now frees up room for beefier off-road rubber mounted on new off-road wheels. No off-roader in 2022 would be complete without a roof rack, which is why this SF90 has one, and mounted to it is another all-terrain spare wheel. Elsewhere, the off-road Ferrari features black wheel arch cladding and more robust side skirts for added body protection, as well as a black hood and front splitter for a more aggressive look overall. The final addition is a set of yellow-tinted light pods mounted to the front bumper to light up the trail ahead.

With 986 hp (1,000 PS / 735 kW) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque on tap from its hybrid powertrain, this fictional Ferrari off-roader would make a considerable amount more than the existing Porsche and Lamborghini off-roaders, though, like the Porsche, its 211 mph (340 km/h) top speed would likely have to be restricted to adhere to the limitations of the tires.
