The people at SRT Motorsports are hard at work continuing the development of the racing version of the new 2013 Viper with the GTS-R moniker.
This time, the Chrysler Group’s racing division headed out to the Virginia International Raceway as they prepare for the Viper GTS-R’s American Le Mans Series (ALMS) competition debut later this season.
The GTS-R makes use of a modified version of the production Viper’s 8.4-liter V10 engine. The company has not yet revealed details about the race-spec engine.
